I never really wanted to become a housewife, but I had to leave my job when my second child was born. I am not too sad about leaving the job sometimes I get bored at the home especially when there is no work. Thus, I never miss any opportunity to refresh myself and do a lot of window-shopping. Since my husband is busy most of the time, I am the one who has to attend all the family functions. However, it is good as I can get a change and get in touch with my relatives.  

DFO Homebush was extremely crowded and there were large delays in service

I love shopping and in fact, it helps me to feel good when stressed. Although I had come to Sydney for attending a family function, I was curious to explore the best shopping places in the city. My first day in Sydney was very busy and there was no way I could visit any of the places but the second day was easier. I had lots of time to plan my time and shop as much as I could. I decided to go to DFO Sydney Olympic Park and Birkenhead Point Outlet Centre in Drummoyne. However, the weekend spoiled my shopping as there was a lot of rush at both the places.

1. DFO Homebush, Sydney Olympic Park: I was told that weekend is a good time to visit DFO Sydney Olympic Park as there are some great deals to catch exclusively on the weekends. However, no one really told me about the rush. I took my cousin’s car to visit the place but it turned out to be a big mistake. The parking was a big mess in spite of charging for providing parking facility. A lot of my time was wasted in getting my car free from the web of parking mess. There were a variety of shops at the place and also very well segmented in separate sections. I was impressed with the structural arrangement but there were not enough people to serve the large crowd.

2. Birkenhead Point Outlet Centre, Drummoyne: I could not visit Birkenhead Point Outlet Centre on the same day as I was tired after a terrible experience at DFO. Fortunately, there was a lesser crowd at Birkenhead Point Outlet Centre and the fact that it was Monday, helped the cause. The range of shops was really impressive at this wonderful marketing place. I do not know about the weekend but on Monday, it was just reasonably crowded.
